Omar Paz Trujillo is a writer, producer, and 2025-2026 Fellow in Stowe Story Labs’ New Voices New Mexico program. His work moves across genres, from political thrillers to road-trip dramedies to period stories, but is consistently shaped by emotional truth, humor, and a strong cinematic sensibility.Rooted in Northern New Mexico and influenced by years of living abroad across different countries and cultures, Omar writes from a point of view that is both deeply regional and globally informed. Drawing on experience in front of and behind the camera, he writes with the finished film in mind, balancing visual storytelling with a practical eye toward production.
